Today, I learned of composer Angelo Badalamenti’s death. I’ve been a fan of his song “Twin Peaks Theme” for about 15 years—before I’d even seen the television show.
On August 17, 2015, I purchased the album “Soundtrack From Twin Peaks” from Amazon and fell in love with it.
Shortly thereafter, on September 11, 2015, the 25th anniversary of the album’s release, I registered the domain name 911TwinPeaks.com to show similarities I found between “Twin Peaks” and the September 11 attacks.
You can see what the website looked like on the Internet Archive at the following URL: <https://web.archive.org/web/20160305073545/http://911twinpeaks.com/>.
I’ll be listening to and remembering music by Badalamenti today.
